$Date: 6/28/96 3:45p $
The Banners Applet displays a series of one or more moving messages within its
borders. You embed the Banners applet in an HTML standard <APPLET> tag.
You specify the messages to display by including their text either as a
parameter of the tag or in a separate text file.
Other general parameters you can specify for the
Banners Applet include the the standard font, size, style, and color of the
text, the speed and style of the animation, the width and color of the border,
and the background image or color to display behind the text. You may also
specify a standard URL to access when the user clicks in the applet.
In addition to the text of each message, you may provide specific
message parameters such as the number of times to
repeat one message before proceeding to the next. You may specify a particular
URL to access when the user clicks on a message. You may also override general
parameters for a message such as the font, size, style, and color of the text,
the background color, and the speed and style of the animation.
